Free-association Tuesday
The following three photos have a common theme. If you know what it is, answer in comments. The actual answer will be posted in comments tomorrow.
ADDED at 10:20: OK, looking at this again, it appears that the common theme is probably too easy (center and bottom photo are a giveaway) so you have to state what each photo has to do with the common theme.
No fair using Google, although I have no way to monitor use. If you want, scroll down and look to the right and you'll find a Google search button.

But some of us are just going to wait for someone to post the answer.
Well, I certainly don't want to just give it away!
O.K., Smitty. I'm waiting!
OK, MK, here's the deal:
The theme is Peter Sellers. The first photo, St. Alyousius College (described as a "comprehensive" in my "Highgate Walks: A Local History Guide," so I gather it's a grade school and high school in one) is where Peter Sellers went to school. The second photo is of course of Peter Sellers in "The Pink Panther Strikes Again," (the German innkeeper is played by the guy who played Hercule in earlier Pink Panther movies) and the third photo is an oblique reference to a scene in Dr. Strangelove. In it, President Merkin Muffley (played by Sellers) utters the absurd sentence: "Gentlemen! You can't fight in here! This is the war room!"
A wacky guess would have been good. It was what Free Association Tuesday was intended to inspire.
O.K., now I know the rules. I'll be better next time.
