Calling in sick
Yesterday, the first Monday in February, is the most popular day to call in sick in the UK.
I remember working pretty hard, but that's because I don't get sick days anymore ....

What? I didn't say you got sick days, Oldest Kid. I'd expect a little understanding from you, of all people!

I don't know if threatening violence is peacemaking! Oldest kid, on the other hand, was very conciliatory, and I appreciate it.
