John Wesley, full of grace,
The Lord was with thee;
On this blessed spot did you feel Him,
That now is the roundabout at Aldersgate:

O Wesley, Father of Methodism,
Pray for us Londoners now,
And at the hour of rush. Amen.

Wow! Is that a Catholic prayer about Methodism?
If you want to write about religion in London and have a pleasant end to thestory, your best option is to write about the Methodists. Most of the Catholic history here involves beheadings.
Thanks, Schmutz. And yes, MK, it is a Catholic prayer about Methodism, in the sense that I reworked the "Hail Mary" prayer (which I think takes its name from the American football pass) to be about John Wesley, not Jesus's Mom. Which is sort of cheeky, but I really meant it in a respectful way.
Hey, I'm all for cheeky!!! Mrs. W is absolutely brilliant.
