Italian fashion tip No. 1
The saying is, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. If that applies to fashion, then men should be wearing melon this fall. Buy a melon-colored sweater and drape it over your shoulders in a preppy look, or wear orange pants. But not that nasty University of Illinois orange. Or that burnt pumpkin color of the University of Texas. Yeah, avoid those. Fruity is the look you want!

I am now offended twice! I like both the Univ. of Ill. orange, and the UT Orange. I have been sporting more of the burnt orange lately, though. Mrs. W. seems to have some sort of a prejudice...
I'm with Mrs. W! Fruity is in.
I should point out that, as Mrs. W says, the sweaters we saw were never actually worn as designed--you know, with your arms in the sleeves--but draped around the shoulders in that look some call dashing, others call goofy.
Yuck for burnt pumpkin orange!
