We adopted out our two cats, with an option to take at least one back upon our return or move somewhere else. Our decision was based on the rather strict rules the UK has about importing pets. At the time, it was looking like our cats were going to be in quarantine for at least six months because of the timing of their rabies updates. I'm assuming that you've checked into this, but if you haven't, I would recommend that you do so.; 9:48 PM
