More Weather
The casual reader might run into some recent posts and wonder, "Why's he complaining about rain in Britain?" That's an excellent question, to which I respond, you would too, if you were getting double your normal rainfall.
Even the natives are complaining, and the weather forecasters are already talking about "the year without a summer."

Now, now Smitty. The rain has a purpose: to encourage the development of waterproof randonnuering gear. It also should make the AUK riders break a frown at PBP when all is sunny and warm. OOOPS!
We finally had a day with no rain and lots of sun, the first in about 2 weeks! Of course, the back yard is now a marsh.
Smitty, some live with me!!!! We have a year with no winter!
And someday, perhaps, a year with no water ....
And we have been having lovely weather - mid 80's, low humidity (for us), enough rain to make the crops grow. The Other One Who Lives Here does complain about the grass growing so much.
We'll have water here as long as we can steal it!
