I saw 4 guys from England win some golds and silvers swimming in the Commonwealth Games tonight! I cheered loudly for Liam Tancock.
Yeah, and I saw the Brits beat the Aussies at Rugby 7s, whatever that is (I think it means absurdly small six-man scrums). I've been meaning to post on the Commonwealth Games, as well as the Cheltenham Festival (steeplechase horse racing) because something like five horses had to be put down last night after they broke various leg bones.
And who knew the Scots were good swimmers?
OK, I'm supposed to be working, but like Douglas Adams, I love the wooshing sound that deadlines make as they move past me.
Is that anything like a "giant sucking sound?" Smitty, I'll be out on the streets both today and tomorrow! It's an international movement!
